C'mon, don't be such a country pumkin and belittle Singapore implicitly. I am a Hongkonger that lived in Singapore for more than 16 years. Singapore has its own rule just like Hongkong has its own. If you not living here, you won't understand. There are a lot of Durian lovers in Singapore and Malaysia that would be carrying their beloved durian..S.. to the public transports. If you never experienced the smell, you have no right to laugh at it -- it was so terrible that I think the government has not fine the offenders enough. Most of the times, I think Singaporeans are too competitive. But now I think, Hong Konger also has a lot to blame... and pls give me a break. You are visiting a culturally different nation.. just because you see a lot of Chinese, you assume they share the same culture. Honestly, this is a far cry from true.. Singaporean is much one of its kind.. the closest are the chinese in KL.. although they never admitted it... they are never similar to Hongkonges, nor Taiwanese or Chinese. It anything, could just say we all mistake them.. Honestly, they are one of their kinds..be it a compliment ( as west meets easts) or bad ( simply put, lost identity).. they are DIFFERENT...
